For inducing me to listen to St Vincent and the Dirty Projectors for the first time, I salute you.

It's too late to listen to the top five, but I will check tomorrow. I have not heard a single one of those 30 songs. I'm not sure what that says about me. I'm not sure I care. But I'm always happy to be introduced to new music.

I love Phoenix, one of my favorite new artists. I saw Grizzly Bear last summer with Radiohead, they were really good live.

A few songs I would remove to add my personal favorites, and some that I would replace with another song by the same artist, but a damn fine list regardless.

You have excellent taste in music, very similar to my own. Let's be internet friends!

Oh wait, we already are!

Merry fucking Christmas!
